hey everybody im pat i dont yet have a car cause i just got my liscense like a week ago but i am looking to buy a 1995 green Acura Integra LS Special Edition either today or tomarrow. It has nothing done to it (mechaniclly). My dad for some reason is really against me getting it (idk why??). It has 104K miles nd the guy wants $3995 for it. I test drove it and it seems pretty solid. There is minimum rust by the rear fender and a rip on the driver seat (leather). Also, a few little scratches nothing too bad.

Just wondering your guys opinion.

Welcome to CI! Seems a little pricey for what it is. I'd ask to lower it down to $3000. If not, $3500 would the the highest I'd pay.

stay away from rust. integras are prone to rust.

x2 on the rust..i would not get a car w/ rust on a panel like that..once integras get rust..its basically a wrap

i am trying to make the guy lower it to 3500 at least but he being stubborn as hell. i want an integra and there are no nice ones by my house this is one of the only ones. i think its in pretty good condition for a 13 year old car (I have seen waaaaayyyy worse). for the pics click on the link below.

just be patient man. tell u the truth its hard to find local deals unless ur in the right place in cali. just wait..be willing to travel 100 miles

the only problem is i need a car by next week so i dont have time to wait. i either get a integra or i got to find like a civic or something in those lines any other ideas for cars?? my zip code is 60005 if someone wants to find me something i will be very greatfull. my price limit is 4G's (thats what i have saved up parents wont give anymore) :-(

welcome! i say wait, dont buy anything you will not be completely satisfied with, patience will make your life easier and Mcuh happier. i was in your situation not too long ago and i wish i had waited...

yup wait it out. and your dad is right stock is sexy. you dont know who worked on it before you and what not. so shit could fall out. stock is sexy. remember that. =) be patient. auto trannys are bad because you could have someone shifting all the time in it which isnt good for it. trannys are more expensive than a clutch to replace. thats why i got a stick, and its more fun!
