What year BMW is this steering wheel from?

I was able to find a very similiar steering wheel.

That looks like an older version of Momo's "Race" style steering wheel.

This is definitely a Momo, and I think it's mid 80's. Here is a pic I found online; I also found a lot of posts on a couple German forums about this wheel in particular.
