What tranny fluid should I use....

Tranny Fluid....

I'll be installing my Tranny pretty soon... What should I use for new Tranny Fluid?? Do you know what they use at Acura/Honda, and yeah it is a 5 speed..

Honda has their own Honda/Acura OEM tranny fluid. I only use OEM fluid in my tranny. It's like $4-$4.50 a quart.

i've heard GM Modified Friction Syncro Mesh works very well on high milaged / abused tranny's. kinda costsly too... i'd say 15 bucks per quart?

Syncromesh Friction modified is the best way to go...got rid of a 3rd gear grind 4 me

or if it is a tranny like my LS, that is about to be changed out for a gsr, then u can just throw some 10 w 30 in it, anything will do

How many quarts does the tranny need?

automatic transmission fluid is 2.9 quarts
manual transmission oil is 2.3 quarts
