So I totaled my da Monday night. Motor and trans are fine. All my money was spent under the hood thank god. My reason for this thread is to see what you guys think I should go with shell wise. I want to be able to get 6500 out of car when my motor and trans are dropped in. I have about 8k invested in motor. I will also be parting out the da what's left anyway I will start that thread soon.

I'm sorry about your loss. Are you physically fine? If your thinking of getting quoted by the insurance company for 6500, expect the worst and hope for the best. Good luck bro.

I'm Aight I fractured 3 vertebrae in my spine it hurts but I'm good. I know insurance ain't giving me shit. I just want to take my setup out the totaled car and put it in something else. What I'm wondering is what Honda-acura shell will bring me the most money with a b18c with over 8 k invested in just motor and tranny

No. Do you really expect you would get 6500 out of a 90 honda (with probably a less than immculate body)?

Put it into a 94-01 Integra. Thats about as good as its going to get. Find the best body out there. You could also put it into a civic EG (92-95 or whatever years they were). If the body and interior is in good condition, you may fetch something near your asking price.

CRX EF or EG, enough said*
Should there be commas in there? Isnt the CRX and ED?

For recouping his money, the EG would probably be best among these options.

You will be better off if you can prove the work was done by a reputable shop and you have receipts for everything that was done.

I rebuilt my own motor, and although I have the invoice for my machine work and receipts for my parts, that doesn't mean much considering I don't have the experience that a professional shop does.

You'll be lucky to get 3500 for motor/trans. I don't see mulany built motors selling for what the people ask

I have it 13k in receipts and over 8k from motor work. The block and head are also stamped by the shop who is suppose to be the best in area ET Motorsports. I would settle for 4k with hondata
