What should the intake temp be?

i have 2002 acura rsx and ran my car on my scan tool just to make sure nothing new has came up on my car. so i went and looked at my data stream and it said my intake temp was at 130 degrees. i have worked on cars for almost 10 years now and that just doesn't seem right. i don't have a stock intake i have a injen cold air intake.

Temps will vary with driving conditions. If sitting still IAT will be higher than if moving at highway speed where you have cooler air rushing through the engine bay.

monitor the temps at highway speeds (if you have that ability) and report back.

i was sitting in arby's drive thru wating on my food it was at 130 and then i left and maybe went down a degree or 2 i mean there wasnt a very big difference like i thought there would be. i know it would change with condition and all that just it just seems to hot.

Hello. I would say that on an average 75 deg day I average between 108 and 111 deg.
