i want to turbo my b18a1 just for a cheap but good power adder. everyone i know said a turbo kit from ebay would be fine but said to get my car tuned. should i use the stock ecu from my b18a1 or should i buy a different ecu? also would i have to buy a tuning program like hondata or could i just reflash the stock one? sorry if I am completely wrong with my terminology and stuff cause when it comes down to the computer stuff of cars I am completely lost. thanks.

Research A LOT before you turbo.

Check out the stickies in the Forced Induction and All-Motor forums. They will teach you a bunch (they definitely taught me a TON of info). Also, check out pgmfi.org to learn about fuel injection and tuning. And most of all, wrench on your own car or get a job at a shop to learn (internships are very useful, but idk how old you are or if you're in a position to do that lol).

And btw stay the eff away from ebay turbo kits. 99% of the time they are complete crap.

NO ebay. been through that before.. I've found full turbonetics kits on craigslist (used) for $450.

i have turbo b18 as well... i use Turbonetics..... no complaints.... STAY AWAY FROM EBAY TURBO!!!!! plus PLZ make sure u upgrade ur fuel pump everyone i know around here will get these ebay turbos and they will run like doodoo cause they keep them un tuned and stock fuel pump 255 or BUST! lol... jus some friend knowledge!
