I have a question i plan to do a turbo kit on my DA,nothing much just 3-5psi.if you had $500 would you put it into the engine or replace most of your exterior body parts with lighter peices.

Your not going to get much with 500 in your engine or exterior parts for that matter, I'd buy a CF hood though if I had an extra 500 layin around and wanted to put it into my teg.

I would lower it, buy some JDM one piece headlights, get some nice wheels, and give it a fresh paint job.

Something along the lines of this.

youre not gonna get much if your running on that psi so i would recommend on getting some engine internals or do a rebuild we got to thik about the enigine first and turbo later so you wont have a blown motor invest the money into the engine build a sleeper not a ricer

First mod I'd do is replace anything that's worn out, ie, sway bar bushings, trim pieces, main fuel relay or other things that are known to go out or break on the older integra's.

just save the $500 and build that up, you're not going to get anything worth having for $500 unless you want to do those little things like maintainance, if you really want to buy something and your car isnt dropped, save another 100+ and get some coilovers

oh ok yeah no problem ill post up pics of it later trejordan.and another question I HEAR EVERYBODY SAYING I SHOULD CUT MY SPRINGS TO LOWER IT,BUT WONT THAT SQREW UP YOUR SHOCKS

you can do it that way, most people wouldnt recommend it, but my girlfriends car is on cut springs, and her old car was on cut springs for years and it rode fine, shocks never blew either, its always better to just buy quality parts from the beginning, that way you wont have to do things more than once

rockadilla

thats right.
First mod should be security, second I would lower it, and 3rd make the exterior look nice aka 1 piece headlights, maybe a front lip or something and then concentrate on the engine, I don't like people who have an amazingly fully built engine but the exterior looks like crap, but that's just me

that is true, you should probably go pick up a QUALITY alarm (2-way pager, ignition kill, etc) before you start modding, then suspension would be next
