wats up guys i'm lookin for cold air intake and headers but idk wat i should get... any suggestions

to me i think all cold air intakes are the same. i wouldnt pay over $60 i think they give u the same amount of horsepower as any other one. i would just buy one off ebay and for the header i heard good comments of dc sport

aem or injen cold air.
dont get a dc header they are crappy and weak. if u dont have much money then knock ure self out and get one. if u want a good header get an an-r or smsp.

i had a ceramin dc header with my set up, and once the an-r went on DAMN

SPOON drop in filter element.dc sport ceramic headers crack, get an stainless steel header like apexi, greedy o even spoon, or if youre on a budget get weapon r or the type r oem header...

yea its better then stock, but getting a GOOD header will really show u what ure engine has.atleast get a jdm itr header.
and the weapon r header is pretty good, i remeber a dyno chart showing just slight lower power when it was compared to a toda or smsp header. but its like 700-800 bux so not really cheap

I would go with either Injen or AEM. I myself have the AEM V2 CAI. For headers, can't help ya there, I haven't looked into them that much yet.

All you guys throwing out all these suggestions before you even know....
-What area of the rpm range he wants to build power in.
-How far is he going to go with his mods. When will he consider his engine mods "done"? Just doing I/H/C/E, or going into engine internals?

No one can give an educated answer without knowing these things. Gdep....you need to have a plan for you engine so that all the parts you buy for it are working together, and not against each other, to get maximum power gains. Having a plan will prevent you from buying the wrong parts and wasting money.

well as far as engine mods... i'm goin LS Vtec. and then i'm takin it from there... if i can get the money up i'll go turbo. so what do u suggest as far as intake and headers????

u need to do some research thats the best thing to do as far as an intake goes i really dont think it matter wat the hell u get cold airs a bitch ne way id go for a SRI

it literally took me about 10 minutes to drop in my short ram i know if u do a cold air u gotta take out the resonator and shit and ur gonna need a bypass vavle cause of hydro lock or some shit when it rains
