what is this?

Ok so i got under the dash as i restarted my build today and saw this. I do not know what it goes to, but it is connected to the gas pedal and im taking a wild guess but i think it has something to do with it. It looks like there is a bolt missing or it goes on the accellerator cable or something. I would appreciate any help

On a side note I finished repainting my interior pieces and am getting them put back in tomorrow evening when i go and pick up my new seats (front and rear) new carpet and a few interior pieces that i am missing all for $75 bucks, Check out the progress

Would that be where the throttle cable bolts to the pedal assembly?

Jim is right. You can see the hole it would cone through the firewall next to the throttle cable

it won't do any harm. That option is always there incase you want to put cruisecontrol back in.

thanks guys this is my first Honda so im still getting the feel for them i have worked on them before and built 1 motor with a buddy but i know nothing about the inside fuctions, I am a minitrucker so its a change of scene for me
