What is this under my Integra?

I recently bought at ‘95 LS hatchback. I noticed there’s a piece of metal under the back of the car. It looks like a tow hook but the previous owner said it had never been raced or modified. Does anyone know what this is/what it’s for?

factory tow point. All cars have them. You have 2 more in the front under the bumper.

Thanks for the replies. I didn’t realize it was factory because I’ve never seen one that was so prominent.
