What is that piece that goes under the cargo mat

You know that trunk cargo carpet... what goes under that between the spare tire and the carpet because it isn't flat it just lays on tire ya know

I dunno how I would make a outline of the trunk for the wood to cut

Use tracing paper, that some thing they teach you back in middle school lol, then get a piece of wood and trace it back on it then cut it out.

Dude tracing paper isn't going to work because it has to be perfect... its not exactly a flat area... I need something that will be a really good outline.. but I don't know what I can use

Actually the stock piece is flat, so tracing paper will work perfectly fine...

Get a big board of ply and then just trace and cut.
