What gives you greater torque

What a vague question.
Anything that increases volume or volumetric efficiency of the engine.

Something tells me that the guy who put this together asked the exact same question :what:

Very vague indeed. I am sorry, but I feel like I have to ask this...how much torque are you looking at getting? What is your goal/desired torque basically?

Well, torque is directly related to HP. Torque times RPM divided by 5252 = HP. You'll see on all dyno charts you look at, the HP and TQ lines cross at 5252 RPM's.
If your looking to improve TQ in the lower rpm's, put together an engine package that'll improve HP in the lower rpm's: Thinner sized intake arm, header with smaller size primaries with a 2-2.25 inch collector, smaller size cat and exhaust (2-2.25 inches). This will improve HP and TQ in the lower rpm's at a sacrifice to higher HP and TQ #'s in the upper rpm's.
