What are the best headlights?

ook, well my front right headlight just went out, and its about time because they are awful. i have a 200 integra with regular stock headlights and i can barley see at night. im looking ton get new headlights. im wondering what are the brightest, longest lasting headlights available. i dont want them to burn out after a year, but i want them to be bright as possible. also, if i buy new headlights, am i going to have to be dong a whole bunch of re-wiring or anything??

I have had PIAAs for a few years now. Very white, and come in normal bulbs so no rewiring.

Edit: Just checked my email and found that I bought them in November of 2007. I work second shift so I use them a lot too.

get hids, they have plug n plays that are dumb easy to install. They work great.

the best ones are the ones that ARENT deep blue, purple, pink, or green.

6000k HID's are what I use. Cheap ($40 off ebay), Easy to install, good looking light blue, but bright as hell.

Or you can stop by any autoparts store and get some Sylvania Silverstar Ultra for about $10. They also last a long time and are pretty bright.

Might wanna use some turtlewax headlight restorer if you're lenses are yellowed out.

Been in a car with 6000k headlights and couldn't see anything.

yea but the light cut off sucks! IF you really want great light out put get retrofit.

here buddy tsx retrofit light output in oem headlights

s2k is best retrofit you can get but just the projectors/ballast/bulbs cost nearly $500, txs runs around $350.. not including installation, tons of dyi though on how to do it.

4000-5000k produces the most light in lumens. by the time you hit 6000k it's already dropped and it's the popular choice because people want the blue tinge it offers.

it looks blue when viewed from 3rd party, but when driving isnt really much at at imo...

ive know people that have blown them in 3 months, the set in my other car is like 7 years old and still fine
