What alternator(s) can I use.

so, I dont have enough money to buy a brand new alternator. (my diodes are bad in mine)
i was curious what alternators can i use. out of what year, and make of cars. if any. are interchangeable.

i would suggest if you dont have the money for a new one to go to a junk yard and get one that matches up that would be the best way to go i think

i replaced the alt. on my gf's da, i used an obd2 alternator but if you can get one from before 96 itll slide right in if you get one from 96-up you have o rewire it. i just matche wire colors and it works great.
