So one of my dads friends offered me a 90 integra ls clean title. The paint is white and looks immaculate. Interior looks super clean and appears to have been taken care of good. It has a B20 and is fully stock. its lowered on steelies and gots HID's and fogs.. Honestly it looks really clean. He told me to give him 1500 cash and its mine. I am so tempted but honestly i know nothing about the b20 or DA's. Ive only owned one DC and i sold it. Whats your guys' opinion? :) :drive:

I'd go for it. B20's aren't that dissimilar to B18's, just more displacement. (well there is a lil more to it than that, but you get the idea)

Research Baby. Is good to get others opinions but its also good to get some facts (or at least expert advise from the web)

How many miles are on the chassis and engine? If your cousin thats giving you the b16 head knows more about cars than you I would have him take a look at it. But $1500 sound like a good deal if it doesn't need a lot of work you can save up for your boost project without having to dumb too much money on a lot of other stuff.

B20 cylinder walls are thinner than the stock B18A1. Also, they are one single cast, unlike the B18 where they are separate. It won't handle really any more than 200-225 horsepower stock if it's fresh is what I have heard. You could try and go higher but it's a good idea just to go with a B18A1 instead.

well the b20 series i know there are two kinds b20z which got thin walls hp limited b20b got thicker walls than the z so i would look at the block and make your decision from there

B20 b is what i have in my Integra and if you have the boost around 8 to 10 on a daily, you will have more hp and still have a reliable DAily driver

b20 in a 5spd DA, would simply be kick ass fun. more torque, less weight than a DC.

$1500..is a very good price. now if you're trying to get back into DC, stick to your plan, but if i liked the vehicle and i needed it, ill buy it if i was you, itll be a fun daily driven car
