well i just had my mechanic work on my car... and me =] lol

we changed the a/c belt, p/s belt and alt. belt....

checked the timing belt its the original honda one and looks good
so when i bought the car he wasnt lying this motor is at average at
50,000 miles......

fixed the dizzy leak, cap leak, and vc seal =]
but the...
bad thing is whoever had that tranny in another car grinded down the bottom
so bad were you take the middle of the tranny appart so we put cold weld on it because it was leaking.

i am probly thinking about getting a b16 tranny after a while (if it fits on a b20b which should right?)
3rd gear grinds and the bottom is pretty far grinded down
half the bolt on the bottom is gone
lol
want a b16 tranny
or gsr tranny


now anywhere i can find trannys other then craigslist...
and what should i check for on the tranny before buying?

make sure it has low mileage if available if not get a real good casing and go ahead and have it rebuilt. unless u have the money then get either a remand r new from a local trans shop or auto parts store that will order one for u.
