Hey there everyone, well I just thought I'd come by and say hello. I've haven't had a chance to post pics till now so here we go hehe. Well let me post up some pictures of my 96 GSR for you all to see. Thank you all for looking and glad to be a part of the community here.

First shot of my car with my old DSM

Second shot

Front of car when I got it, missing sidemarkers, mismatched wheels and bad paint, water hides all the clearcoat peeling hehe. Also has the tint that went bad. The car also had a badly dented front left fender. Front bumper was bowing out on both sides where the bumper meets the fender.

Here's a shot of the rear when I got it, once again mismatched wheels, no sidemarkers and bad paint. Also still has the wiper and plugs for the trunk when then wing was taken off. Also both rear quarter panels has some big dings from the previous owner when the kids would bang their CRV doors into the panels

Now here are 2 shots I took of the car when I picked it up from paint (Subaru Midnight Black Pearl from the 2002 Subaru WRX), unfortunately my car's ignitor coil went out on me during my drive back home on the freeway hehe. Don't mind the steelies, I used them for rollers when I took the car in for paint. I got new smoked Stanley OEM JDM sidemarkers from PasswordJDM.com and painted the clear bumper lenses with amber paint. Also you'll notice I had the emblem and trunk holes filled and I deleted the rear wiper before paint. The front also has a Type R lip.

And a shot of the rear.

Well can't wait to start posting on here but thought I'd say hello. Peace out for now everyone.

Welcome and I must say SICK choice on the color ;). I love it in the direct sun or under lights at night. It looks like a whole different paint job when that blue shines. Ive had someone actually think I got my car painted after seeing it all blue in the sun.

Thank you man. Well there are a few goodies I had on the car. Brother gave me the car as he's got a family and the car doesn't work for what he needed it for. The car has Skunk2 coilovers with KYB AGX shocks. Neuspeed front and rear strut bars. Also has front and rear camber kit pieces. Bolt ons include a AEM short ram, DC header and a ITR exhaust.

I plan to just add some Slipstreams and keep the car reletively simple and clean. No JDM or anything like that, building the car for myself. I've never seen this color before, at least not here. Picked them up in the Philippines

As most of you know, Slipstreams come in Matte Black, Gunmetal, Polished bronze and Polished. Rota is made in the Philippines, so I figured when I was out there to get a set of wheels hehe.

As you can see, I've never seen this color before. The lip is a polished bronze, while the actual spokes are like a stucco bronze. The Rota USA website doesn't even have this color listed, at least for Slips. Tell me what you all think. Thank you all again for looking

Ive never seen that color combo on a rota before. Curious to see how it looks in the light.
