I enjoy Integras.
Well if you paid them to install it, I would take it back there until it works correctly. Tell them the problem. You paid money for a correctly working swap.

2 threads about the same problem?

You should go to the shop and demand money back since they can't make it work properly. Then find someone who knows WTF they're doing

OP, you have so much shit going on there, and we can't really diagnose over the internet. Seeing as you paid that shop to do a Vtec motor swap, I'd say their job isn't finished until Vtec engages correctly, thus making the car run properly for what it is.
What ECU are you running? IM?

You need to know how VTEC works before you try to determine "power lost."

VTEC is just a secondary cam profile that the engine shifts over to at a certain RPM. The secondary cam profile is more aggressive, meaning more power. While you are always going to be on the economy profile while VTEC doesnt work, you can expect to see the power of an B18B1, or less.

Wait, they don't know what to do, even with an S300? If that's the case, why the hell is it still at that shop? Take it to someone who knows what they're doing.

i have to agree with everyone man. if those guys cant figure it out then ur at the wrong shop. they might do good work on basic stuff and be alright people but obviously they cant do custom shit and if it was me i would be going down there asap and taking my car to someone that knows this shit or you will just be waisting money and time. then to beat it all if something they have done is wrong in the wiring and there not catching it you will end up messing up key componets and destroying your whole set up that you probably have paid good money for. TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE ASAP.
