check engine light comes on when going downhill and take foot off gas pedal...was told it was vss or
transmission speed sensor by shop...been this way for 3 years now...car runs fine, tach and speedo
work fine...have stock 1988 Integra LS...would appreciate any info on whether diagnosis sounds
reasonable or not and how to fix...have 5 speed MT by the way...thanks

Have you checked to see what code(s) it's throwing? That's your best bet.
