Hello,

So my audio sensor is too sensitive. Sometimes when a bus or truck pass by, the alarm will sound. Super annoying. I've searched but cannot find any info on how to adjust it. Anyone knows? Right now, I'm gonna put some tape over the mic. My alarm is 5701

Thanks.

Its probalbly the vibration sensors, mine does that too, youbwill have to locate all the sensors and turn them down individually

did your alarm come with a 2-way remote?
there's an indicator bar on the screen that goes from lowest to highest.
to adjust it. you have to hold down your AUX button and unlock for 8 seconds. then i think you can adjust the sensitivity with the unlock and lock button.

That's for the internal shock sensor. He said it's his audio sensor. I'm assuming he knows which sensor is tied into which zone on the remote. If it was showing a hammer, that would indicate shock. If it shows a 3 or 4, or in the rare instance that they used a bitwriter and programmed the audio sensor icon, then that would indicate it's the audio sensor.

Follow the mic back to the sensor. On the sensor is a big fat sensitivity knob.

My remote is the one above. It is 2-way. I had a shop install the alarm. He told me I could use the remote to adjust the sensitivity but there's no mention of it in the manual. So I guess I'll go back to the shop and ask them to do it. I thought I could do it myself with the remote.

I know it's definitely not the shock sensor.

I have the same alarm. As I said, you can only adjust the shock sensor by remote. The shock sensor is internal to the alarm brain. The audio sensor is an add-on.
