Valve Knock?

everytime i turn on my car there is a knocking noise.. and it stop about 4 sec later.. but when i gas the car it does the same knocking noise..? wats going on with my motor!! lol:lol:

when is the last time you changed your oil

i havent race the car yet and never redline... it started doing this when i came back from a 30 mile drive back home.. now the car is sitting on my driveway for 3 weeks.. i change the oil every 3000 miles so yeah

check your timing then check your valves it sounds like one of them is really loose. or it could be fuel related and maybe your fuel filter is plugged those are the only two i can come up with.

I didn't listen to it because I'm at work and busy, but if it is coming from your head, then try checking/adjusting your valve lash

sounds like rod knock to me, especially if it sounds like it is coming from the bottom end, have a buddy gas it while you listen, watch your fingers though

or your just going to cause more damaged by letting shit smack together
