valve compatibility

I know it has to be some where in here i just don't have the time to dig thru 30+ pages to find it i have to have this done in the next day or 2 .. what valves if any are compadibly with the doch d16a1... I'm mean the valves for the intake\ exhaust i have a bent one..sorry for the spelling and many thanks to any help . my local part store can't get them.

Do you want to know aftermarket valves or are you asking what other heads will have compatible valves?

Peferable from another stock head but if there ain't any then cheap but reliable aftermarket

The fact that its D16 DOHC means many wont know.
There are typically 2 categories of B series and D series (VTEC and NON VTEC) but the D16A is in neither.
So the answer may be no other valves are compatible but I don't know.

Check out the price for a new OEM valve or buy aftermarket.

Yeah i know th a1's are a motor of their own .. that the down fall to the 1st gens . Ill try and find something thanks for the help tho

muckman bascially covered. Being the only dohc d series, I wouldnt go saying anything would really work other the a dohc zc. BUT to make you feel better, I have all 16 out of my d16a1. 1 of them is bent but the rest are fine so You can easily use what you need. I would let all go if you cover shipping if your in the US. Enoch that's cool of u but i got all the valves out and the seats where they seal along. with the valve where it seals are pitted like they rusted ... no rust tho just a lot of build up on them so i gotta gtake it to get machined or more likely get a new stock or zc head well not new but new/used.

You're going to need a 3 angle valve job. Just get some aftermarket valves for the valve job, new seals, have the machine shop check the side to side wobble in the guides too. You'll be good as new.
