I dont think the shop would give u a straight answer. Look it up on google or yahoo answers. PA is 30% on rear window and rear passanger windows, no tint on front 3 windows. I have tint on all 5, got pulled cuz it 'looked' dark (on a cloudy day dumb dumb smh), he put a device on my driver window, came back 31%, he happily let me go.

In Michigan, the law states that the drivers side window and windshield cannot have tint. My Miata has dark tint on the drivers, passenger, and rear windows and a less dark tint on the windshield. Windshield doesn't look like it's tinted with the top on and windows up. Never had any problems with the police, even with the car completely not having a 3rd brake light. The police in my area (and Michigan in general) usually don't bother people for one or two minor problems, like window tint and a brake light out (or missing in my case)
