USDM Type R header fit an LS?

Does the Type R header fit a 96 LS engine? Wanted to replace it

right now i have the type r (usdm) axleback... which parts would i need to complete the exhaust.. Can i use the type r b-pipe or do i have to replace the header and cat as well.

I have a '00 USDM ITR header on my '97 LS. Actually I have the full exhaust all the way to the muffler.

i have the jdm itr header on my gsr...youll have to change out the cat only if u use the jdm header bcus it 2.5". other than that it will fit.

nvrmind i totally missed that it was usdm you were talking about..

ok so if i get a 01 usdm header it should bolt up to my LS cat?

i hane a friend with an ls vtec and he had the JDM ITR full exhaust system

he dyno'd at 126 hp

he switched it out with a greddy header and sp2 cat-back and got 138

just something to think about
