unknown issue with my idle

Hi everyone, new to acura, i have a 93 and it idles kinda low SOMETIMES, but when i am driving and push in the clutch and put on the brakes, it goes down about 300-400 rpms and almost stalls(also throws a check engine light every once in a while) When im driving it runs normal, there isnt any sputter to it at all, just at an idle! Not sure exactly what to look at, hopefully someone can help me out! Thanks!

What CEL is it showing?

i havent checked the light, its obd1 and dont have a tester, When the check engine light comes on i turn the car off and back on and the CEL is gone, it only throws a CEL once in a while

Start by cleaning the Idle air control valve and the fast idle thermo valve.

cleaned the iacv lastnight, where is the fast idle thermo valve, will try that

It's on the bottom of the throttle body.

The CEL should be stored in your ecu, use a paper clip to jump the CEL. It will then pop up on your gauge cluster, count the flashes.
