ukdm "kinda" fogs

so this all started about two weeks ago when i decided i wanted fog lights. i started looking around at all the different types and i was just going to put 4" circle fogs in my grill. well then i saw the ukdm fogs and loved the whole idea. so after some research i found out that they are $500+ from the uk without shrouds..... so then i saw were people took ef9 shrouds and it looked pretty danm close. but, i couldn't find them anywhere! so then i stumbled apon some sqaure fog shrouds for a del sol that you can buy for $115. a little more than i wanted to pay for some rubber piece but i wondered what it would look like so i did a little photoshopin and came up with this. no, im not a proffessional........

Pic worked. That could work, not too bad an idea considering how hard these parts are to find. Fogs would be a little smaller than in the pic, but I dont think it looks too bad

That's a huge emblem! LOL! Doesn't look too bad. You could of bought my whole set of UKDM fogs for $500 with the surrounds! Sold them about a week ago.

I think that since your already slammed, it would work. For some reason I've always thought ukdm on stock height looked weird.

Thats the whole problem!!! I'm a balla on a budget, I dont have $500 to fuck up something that cost $500. Lol I think I am just going to get these and do a diy.

Yea, I hear you there! Really didn't want to get rid of mine, but I had other plans for my new GSR! Wish you could still buy the rubber surrounds though!

you can still justin, just gotta buy the whole optional kit though, for $900.. :lol: cant just buy the rubber shrouds.

im not going to post my option until i see it done, ps one thing, actually on another stroy... ef9 fogs are harder to find than uk shrouds, ive seen few sets fs for $750.

wouldn't too much worry about getting them damaged, like they say, you got pay to play.

On the uk fogs people have tried to make something similar and I've never seen one look even decent. Also what happens if you hack up your lip and 98+ bumper and then it all looks like crap? So you spent 120 on fogs and then if you jack it up you'll drop another 300 to replace the bumper and lip. Why not do it right the first time?

No one will know about the fogs except some integra people. I had my ukdm tail and most people didn't even know they were any different. The cool thing about uk stuff isn't just the looks but the fact you have very rare parts. Its your call but if it was me (and will be down the road) I'd just go oem and do it right.

you could just try the eg2 fogs that are more oval/ish and more of the shape of the integra fogs. but either way it would look good if properly executed. btw im the one who bought justins fogs for 500$

Those are the eg2 del sol fog lights. they are like rounded squares. Not exactly what a was going for but I still want fogs in my bumper. Lol

Ok, say I do buy $500 fog lights and still hack up my bumper. I've now spent $500 then another $300 to buy a new bumper...... That goes both ways bro.
