so last night, on a liquor run, ( i was still sober) when leaving the store, i backed into a guys truck. now being as low as i am, and him having a truck, im guessing i only hit his tow hookup thing...i was going to say something but as soon as i had parked again to say something to him, he had already gotten out of the store, in his truck, and drove away. so. im stuck with a area about the size of my hand...if i remember correctly..( i got OBLITERATED shortly after) without paint now. what can i do to repaint this...can i do it on the car? can i just sand it, sand a lil around it...tape it off and spray away? ill post pics later. thanks for all the help =]

sry to hear, i would of cried alittle no lie. im guessing the damage is in the bumper? i guess you can do that ^^^ but not gonna look right, only way to do it right is to get it sanded down and repaint the whole thing IMO

And I really don't wanna do that. I'm doing my lip right now and just sanding that took forever...I'm gonna tape it off and repaint..

So it's not actually smashed up or anything.. just paint missing?? Or what..

Anyways to get the color to match you would have to paint most of the panel, kind of a fading effect.

dude. like i said. dont mask it. sand and then blend the paint. just mask off the rear filler panel.
