Type-R in a 91

I swapped my 91 Integra with a 97 type r and its running relatively good but i need to work out a few kinks... vtec sometimes doesnt want to work but i think ive figured that out. im puttin on a gsr solenoid that has the pressure switch.

1) The problem is that it idles very low when first started. I have to keep it running but with to much throttle it cuts off. I know what it means but dont know why its doing it.......?

2) Also, the cooling fan when plugged in runs nonstop... even when the car is off.....?

Any help would be appreciated

does it idle fine when warmed up? if it still idles low adjust it. think its called the IAVC, someone correct me if im wrong

as for the cooling fan problem, sounds like the relay was cut, check that out

yea but its just a hassle until its warmed up.... what and where exactly is the IAVC?

should be on top of the Intake manifold, cant miss it! just do a search ADJUST IAVC
