Type-R cams

hey guys my friend has a set of type-r cams that he said he would give me for $100. First off is this a good price? and second what would need to be done for proper installation and use of the cams? Thanks

whats your setup? and yeah thats a great price if they are real cams

if they are real itr's thats a sweet price. 00-01 itr cams go for 300ish

all I have is intake, header, test pipe, exhaust soon. When I put the cams in will any other mods have to be done?

$100 is an excellent price, just be sure they aern't damaged and are genuine ITR cams.

If you put those in your GSR, you'll need an ECU tuning system. And if you want to rev past 8000 you'll need a set of ITR intake valvesprings. You can move your GSR intake valvesprings over to the exhaust side, because GSR intake springs = ITR exhaust springs. Then you can safely rev to 8400.
