I have a 92 integra ls and am in the process of changing the gas tank. While putting on the new tank. I tightened a clamp too much on a plastic valve of some sort that is connected to the tank right above the fuel filter. My question, is this valve a necessary part of the fuel system or can I bypass it and be alright for a couple days until I get a new one.
