turn signal problems????

so when i turn on my turn signal on to the left or the right, both signals flash as if I turned my hazaed lights on....anyone know whats causing this? :what:

Theres a short somewhere. It could be as easy as changing you your bulbs or as complicated as following the wires to find the short.

i figured so but usually when i have a bulb go out, my signal light in my dash blinks reeeeally fast...but thats not happening in this situation??

Take out the front bulbs first. Then see if they blink fast. If they do, then one of the fronts is bad. The one fillament may be bent and grounding on the other (since its dual)

Make sure you just use the left/right blinkers. Not the hazards of course (n_n)

my battery was bad and i changed it out with a new one and it fixed it.
weird.
