turbo teg

Alright guys with yalls help I fnally decided to get a teg for my new car, but its most likely not gona be a GSR/ Type R:cry:
But if I get like a LS/GS, etc. I want to turbo it. I dont want huge numbers, just something with boost , like 5-10 psi. What kind of turbo should I use? Do I need any internal mods? Or just upgraded fuel system and tuning? thanx

Good Streat Illegal with is the Greddy kit you can make over 200 with it, the best rubo kit really depend on the what year you get, if you get an obd1 Teg, then I would make a custom kit. But if obd2 I would just by a kit with a FMU

Well you dont need a lot of mods thing i would recomend would be 450 injectors up graded fuel pump. right now im running 10psi on a week base map and walking vr4 3000gt's. completely stock motor except for big bore TB and victor X intake mani. and with a base drag kit t3/t4 turbo.
just peice yourself together a ok kit for under 2000$ no ebay shit then get it tuned and you will put down mid 200s easy.

mid 200s? cool. About how much did yalls turbo kits cost? u get all new parts or some used too? for my mr2 I pieced together a kit with used parts for about 900, but that was pretty cheap because most parts were just stock mr2 turbo parts. 2000$ still fine I guess, I can get an LS for about 4000 then save more cash and turbo it later on

You can get an LS way cheaper than 4k just depends on how clean you want it... and yeah peice together a turbo kit you can find some good deals, bet the basics but dont get knock off stuf stay away from ssautochrome ect... say get a new turbo than you can get good deals on other stuf used lik DSM 450 drag mani and down pipe, name brand BOX and waste gate, and stay away from internal wastegates...ect

Turbo -600
dsm 450-50$-80$
Bov- 130$? same for waste gate

alright thanks. Yea i probably can find an LS for cheaper than that, I just wrote a number. New turbo and used other parts. Oh and if someone could get me a complete list of all the parts needed that would be really cool.

i heard if you use the dsm bluetops your car dosent always start......would it be better to get aftermarket

DSM = Diamond Star Motors. They are referring to the injector swap many people do. They swap in 450cc "peak and hold" style injectors from turbo 4G63 Mitsu Eclipses

i have an ls right now and planning on running a greddy turbo and intercooler kit with hks blowoff value, upgraded pump and hondata for a good tune. will run a good 3500 ish for the setup but will be worth it. or a k20 if i can get one for 4500 ish.....decisions....decisions
