you have to be more specific than that, everyone wants a turbo with good spooling and good power, it depends on what you think is "good".twlplague said:what is everybodys opinion on turbo size
something that has a pretty nice spooling time, but is able to reach a good amount of power
id say get a turbo that is rated to like 300 or more horsepower, that way you wont over power it. just try and find the quickest spooling turbo that is capable of more power than you wanttwlplague said:ya i know everybody wants that but im sayin what is a good intermediate sized turbo that can bring up 250 hp but offers a quick spool. somthing that starts to spool around 3000-3500 rpm
isnt this what comes on a s15?dc2GS-R said:If you only want around 250 whp, a Garrett GT28RS would be great. It spools very fast and can still make over 300whp if you ever want to push a little further. It's pricey, but it would be perfect
Nope. The S15 comes with a ordinary floating bearing Garret T28. The GT28RS has the GT-series dual ball bearing center section with different specs. 62 trim compressor (.60 A/R) and a 76 trim turbine (.86 A/R) to be exact. It can flows enough air for 350 hp with the proper supporting mods and can spool 15 psi by 3k rpms on a 2.0L engine 8)8urcivic said:isnt this what comes on a s15?
