GReddy turbo's are great, and do not need any internal modifications if you run low boost. Any quality turbo will put you $2000 to $3000 in the hole. If I were you, I would look for less extreme methods of modification before getting a turbo. Upgrade your internals first, and once you get your block ready for the turbo, you can buy a more powerful sucker and run more boost!

Anywho, I would go LS VTEC and forget about the turbo... but thats just me... ALL MOTOR BABY!!

you dont need to do that.. just make the interior turbo ready. like new pistons and shit.

Looks like I'm out numbered... go turbo, but if you want to keep expense down (as you stated before) then get a kit, like the GReddy one. PEACE!

I'll tea bag your face!!
I say piece together your own turbo kit. just look around the net and buy the parts. dont buy a Greddy kit they are shitty. if you want to be fast on a bolt on kit then buy a Drag kit. they are spendy but nice. I dont care what all these clubteg kids say about how good a greddy kit is. the turbocharger itself is a piece of shit and you will want more once you get beat by a GSR with good cams and tuning.

Sorry, I like bragging rights when i whoop a turbo with my n/a GS-R... hey, a boy can dream!
... hHHHHHAAHAHAHA!!! what turbo teg did you race?

am i the only actual person in this thread with an actual turboed integra?

anywho... if you have an LS, go turboed. you can get 250+ HP with a stage 2 turbo w/ intercooler, cam upgrade, exhaust. FMU and a hondata computer. with an LS you can boost 9 PSI without upgrading internals such as rods, gaskets, pistons, etc.

not too many people know alot about LS Turbo's in here... they are a different compression therefore are perfect for forced induction.

my friend has a Type-R Non aspirated [all motor] integra and he spent over $9000 in order to just keep up with my car at 10 PSI.

and LS-VTEC is not the way to go with turbo's, thier a different compression ratio therefore you cant boost as much. with a VTEC such as an LSVTEC, GSR, or Type-R... you can only boost around 6 PSI without upgrading internals.

i would know... i have 2 LS turbos

for having 2 turbo cars you don't know much...

1st turbos don't come in stages that is video games not real life. Next you don't need a came upgrade to make 250whp, third you don't use a FMU with hondata. that is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard. 4th you can run 14psi on stock LS internals depending on the turbo. stock honda internals can hold 300whp as a run of thumb. I don't care what your engine combo is. if it is a B series anything it will hold 300whp if the motor is in good shape.

spending 9G's all motor to keep up with a turbo LS is BS or money poorly spent. you can hit 12's for about 3k or so if you don't mind interior and AC gone.

as for the 6psi on vtec B series is again rediculous. I ran 17 psi on race gas and 14psi daily on stock ITR internals with only a thicker head gasket and block gaurd(block gaurd wasn't really needed but safety)

in closing please do not believe anything in the post above mine. I know what I am talking about simply because I researched heavily before gettin into boost.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will help you the best I can

ps- if you don't believe me go to www.evanstuning.com jeff has dyno sheets from a lot of cars he tuned on the site and mod lists to go along with them
