i own a 94 LS manual integra completey stock besides a new sound system, but i want more. im lookin for turbo kits, good ones, and preferably with a low price tag. any suggestions?
GReddy turbo's are great, and do not need any internal modifications if you run low boost. Any quality turbo will put you $2000 to $3000 in the hole. If I were you, I would look for less extreme methods of modification before getting a turbo. Upgrade your internals first, and once you get your block ready for the turbo, you can buy a more powerful sucker and run more boost!sixtyftunder said:i own a 94 LS manual integra completey stock besides a new sound system, but i want more. im lookin for turbo kits, good ones, and preferably with a low price tag. any suggestions?
you dont need to do that.. just make the interior turbo ready. like new pistons and shit.sixtyftunder said:so you think i should completely remove my engine and replace it with a vtec?
Looks like I'm out numbered... go turbo, but if you want to keep expense down (as you stated before) then get a kit, like the GReddy one. PEACE!xboost said:Dude GO TURBO...but if you do...I would go vtec...but thats me....and then turbo....but just build your motor up first...it will cost alot more but it will be complely worth it.....
Sorry, I like bragging rights when i whoop a turbo with my n/a GS-R... hey, a boy can dream!xboost said:Yes!!!!!!!! Turbo Wins!!!!!!!!!!!!

am i the only actual person in this thread with an actual turboed integra?
anywho... if you have an LS, go turboed. you can get 250+ HP with a stage 2 turbo w/ intercooler, cam upgrade, exhaust. FMU and a hondata computer. with an LS you can boost 9 PSI without upgrading internals such as rods, gaskets, pistons, etc.
not too many people know alot about LS Turbo's in here... they are a different compression therefore are perfect for forced induction.
my friend has a Type-R Non aspirated [all motor] integra and he spent over $9000 in order to just keep up with my car at 10 PSI.
and LS-VTEC is not the way to go with turbo's, thier a different compression ratio therefore you cant boost as much. with a VTEC such as an LSVTEC, GSR, or Type-R... you can only boost around 6 PSI without upgrading internals.
i would know... i have 2 LS turbos
