Turbo Question

Basically just wondering if you can put the big 16g Turbo on a Integra...Somebo wdy told me you could and i didn't know if they were fucking with me or not! If it can be done what's required?

You will need a manifold that has a flange to bolt to the Mitsubishi TD05 turbine housing. You will obviously also need proper piping to fit the dimensions of the turbo and in the case of the downpipe, it will need the proper flange as well. 16G's are also watercooled turbo's so you will need to route some coolant lines to it.

One easy way out may be to find a manifold and downpipe from a Greddy kit. The Greddy Integra kit uses a TD05-18G so the 16G should fit it as well

Okay i gotchaaa!!! So would this be worth it? Would it be a good setup? I don't think many people put a 16g on a Integra....It wouldn't hurt it would it? Thanks!

There is nothing wrong with the 16G. It is a good turbo for 300-350hp applications. I have the EVO3 16G on my Eclipse GST right now.

i don't think many people use them on Honda's mostly because of the support. T3 flanged manifolds are a dime a dozen and so are the turbos. That's probably why most people run some variation of the T3 or T3/T4 hybrid.

MHI turbo's are a rare find on Honda's with the exception of the Greddy kit

Okay that all makes sense....I think me and my friend are gonna be putting on the 16g on my teggy he know how to install turbos and stuff it should be a nice setup...thanks for all of your information! :)

PS: Your GS-T is really clean by the way!!! :)

I bought the GSX brand new when I was in high school and it's paid off. I bought the GST cash money for a daily driver after my Integra got smashed
