turbo or supercharger????

heres the deal. my car just broke down and i think its something internal, anyways...i have a jackson racing supercharger on my integra..was looking to get BIG horse power out of my gsr..wanted at least 300..could i achive this without nos..or do i need to switch over to turbo? please help me out..im stuck in the middle.

You should probably switch to a turbo and search, I think in the last month there have been 3 of these topics

it all depends if u fully build ur teg and supercharge it yahh u can get the 300hp but the turbo u wouldnt have to do as much but its all on preference. supercharger is constant power but turbo is not. got to think about what you want. id just supercharge it w/ the 12lb pulley and be done w/ it. imo

You will not reach 300whp in a gsr with a jrsc-even with a 12lbs pulley. Maybe around 260-270.

did 293 whp on a dynojet. its my ex gf's cousin's car. he's planning to hit 300 with nitrous. the supercharger has been sent off to be readied for a direct port setup.


despite this, think about the work he has done to reach that power....
....now think about bang for the buck.

a buddy of mine in virginia just finished his gt35r gsr. for the same amount of power chris (jrsc setup above) has invested into his motor, lee (gt35r gsr dude) ended up with a 500ish whp built gsr.

when turbo setups are planned right, and DONE right, and tuned by a reputable tuner, i dont think there is anything better. do it right the first time or dont try doing it at all.

I'm guessing the port and polish and the intercooler account for the 30hp increase.
