Turbo/manifold bolts

The turbo kit I purchased didnt come with any bolts to connect the turbo to the manifold, bov to the intercooler piping, or any of that. I do have bolts to connect my wastegate to the manifold, but I was curious If there's anything special I should be getting for all these? I'm going to go to ace hardware and pick stuff up. By special, I mean will I need any special types of bolts, or washers for anywhere? I figure maybe it would be best to get some sort of washers for the manifold to turbo bolts because my manifold is not threaded. I've read some threads about peoples manifold bolts backing out over time, and would like to keep that from happening. Any help is truly appreciated!!

Get high quality fasteners, at least grade 10.9 for metric or grade 8 for SAE.
Use lock washers under the nuts. And you want to torque then all equally.
Say if its a M10 10.9 bolt you can torque it to say 40-50ft-lbs. Less if its smaller.
Check the nuts after every heat cycle to make sure they dont loosen.

Class 10.9*** not grade.
Class 10.9 for metric
Grade 8 for SAE
I think theres a class 12 too.. but not a big market

Cool, thanks muckman! Do I want split lock washers? Or the seratted ones?

Ive never used serrated nuts on this application before. I dont know if they would have enough gripping force, especially into stainless. But the regular split locks have been adequate for me. Honestly I think the torquing plays a big role.

For anyone who is unable to resolve loosening bolts through normal means look into Nord Lock. Expensive but the best of the best.
