Turbo kit part swapping

Shop around. If you can spend less than $800 for all the piping, blow off valve, manifold, wastegate, etc, then find it elsewhere. As long as the turbo you buy to replace the one in the kit can bolt up to your manifold youre fine.

You're pretty much asking if the piping is worth the price of the kit, which I dont think it is. You could always shop around for used piping, or having individual pieces made.

I would consider that kit (no matter what you do with it) a waste of money. You can get a nice ic piping kit with t-bolts, bead rolled ends, 3 ply couplers, and a flange for the bov of your choice for a little under $200.00. All of those "ebay" kits are junk. With forced induction do it right one time or do it all over again.
