turbo help, stock engine, how much boost?

i got a 95 Acura Integra and i was wondering if it is ok to turbo them with stock internals and how much boost to run to be safe.

i assume you have a gsr from your name, since it is a high compression motor i wouldn't boost it more than 5psi

well you would most likely blow your head gasket, and possibly do more dammage.
the gsr is meant to be all motor, it has higher compression, you could put low compression pistons in it and raise the boost.

just get a gt28 on 10psi along with arp headstuds and lower compression head gasket (cometic).
And of course a TUNE. Actually while your at it def should replace rod bolts with arp also.

Make sure to NOT cheap out on the tune or you will blow up, find a quality tuner with good reputation around your area. I recommend using hondata or ectune

If you lower the compression on the pistons; idk how most of the shops in your area are but the ones around my way wont put them in without having the cyl walls all atleast rounded so that means machine work. If you can install pistons obviously you can do w.e. you want haha.

but otherwise, if you don't want to have to take everything apart.. everything I said can be done in a day.
10,12,14 and 17mm wrenches are all you'll need.

Gsr is around 10.5:1 compression for a stock internal setup you have no reason to change compression there are tons of people running stock gsr motors with a turbo. The amount of boost is going to depend on the turbo you go with.

u can run more then 5lbs of boost on a GSR, however, a precise tune is needed in order for it to be worth wild...

wow again more bs well maybe im special or jeff evans is dis something to my old car ls because i made 270whp over 193tq at 14psi on pump t3/t4. only upgrade i had was ycp pistons(stock spec) ge head bolts, cometic hg, and grinding down ls cams. i was tuned on ectune. and just for the record a stock ls holds 9psi no probs
