turbo first or gsr swap

I plan on boosting my car eventually...I have a B18B engine with roughly 120k miles. would you guys boost the B18B or swap it for a B18C and eventually boost that? I wouldn't mind the B18C since i could probably do more with it, but that means it will be longer before i can boost it...just looking for input and keep in mind i wish to eventually put a b16a head on it if i keep my B18B engine.

thanks sorry if this sounds confusing just have no idea wat the hell i should do first haha

boost what you got, unless for some reason its bad but 120k is nothing. i had a boosted LS that was pushin 180k

cool thanks man guess i'll start lookin around to beef up my internals, whats the most PSI you've seen a b18b run?

If the B18B is healthy then boost it. Do a compression test. If the numbers are low then I would just kick it to the curb and get a healthy engine. Or you could build the bottom end :D
