hey guys Im having an issue with my turbo da I was pushing it pretty hard today all ther sudden the car stalled now evertime I start it it will hardly run idle is all over the place and if I take it out on the road as soon as I take my foot off the fuel it dies but seems to work good other then that I have tested compression it is good also fuel pressure is stable while running im thinking possibly a vaccum leak or something to do with the tune ? because right after we dyno tuned it I took it for a drive and everytime the clutch was pushed in it would die so the guy tunning it fixed it and I never had an issue with it again until today any input would be appreciated thanks

would also like to add that I noticed when the car is idling my air fuel gauge is reading as rich as the gauge will show and it is a wideband aem gauge not a cheap narrowband and when I hold the rpms at 2500 it will go back to 14.7 like it always stayed at before this incident

It sounds like its stalling bc its overly rich. Do you know what your fuel pressure was before this incident? And can you report what the fuel pressure is now at idle. Im thinking possibly blew hose off the FPR.

the tuner had it set at 38 psi after the car started acting up I noticed the fuel pressure gauge was reading 42 psi I have tuned it back down to 38 car still runs the same also when you first start it up it acts up the worst almost seems like its not firing on all cylinders but when the car warms up it gets better I have checked the plugs and wires and they all seem good plus there only a week old also checked for boost leaks, vacuum leaks, and compression couldn't find and leaks and compression is good running out of ideas lol

Any check engine lights? What platform on you tuned on? Can you datalog this condition?

the car was dyno tuned im usuing hondata s3000 and when it comes to the ecu like datalogging and stuff like that I have no idea im not good with computer stuff and no theres no check engine light I was hoping there would be so I could check the code and if I did datalog it I wouldn't know what I was looking at

If you could datalog it and send it to me I could at least tell if it was tune related or mechanical. Theres not much else to check.

that would be great ill see what I can do I already talked to the tuner and he said because the cars idle was bad that it wasent the tune that it must be something mechanical but im having a hard time believing him

will you be able to tell anything from the car just idling or do I need to take it out on the road ?

I plugged my laptop into the ecu and the ecu is throwing a code 20 electrical load detector which after some reaserch I found that da integras don't have could this maybe be the problem ?

I doubt it but we can still fix it. in Smanager open up your current calibration file (or download it from ECU). Go into Parameters/Misc and check 'Disable ELD'. Save it.

The at the top go to Online/Clear DTCs. Then Upload the new calibration to the S300 and that error should go away.
I doubt its causing the issue but you fix what you know is a problem and start there.

Regarding datalog I simply want to see a short period of time that shows it idling OK and then idling so bad it stalls.

thank you for your help muckman but I have found the problem the timing jumped almost 180 degrees don't know how it still ran lol
