So I have a 1991 acura integra LS with 183000 miles on it and im planning on turboing it this spring but before i turbo it im going to do a compression and leakdown test. But my questions were can you tune a 91 integra using a apexi safc with a 255lph fuel pump and DSM injectors with a resistor box or do you need to run hondata. And also I was thinking of picking up a hx35 turbo for this kit cause there relatively cheap and have a t3 flange so my next question is what will i be looking at for spool time running 10-12psi tuned. Thanks.:)

Yes, you can. But no, you shouldn't. SAFC is an inaccurate means of fuel correction and also throws your ignition timing off. Even the cheapest Hondata system will significantly out perform the SAFC.

you can but wouldnt recommend it...like he said ^^, it will throw off your timing and could fuck up your motor

best thing you can do is have it properly dyno tuned

There are also quite a few options other than Hondata and an afc. I assume you are planning on on swapping to obd1?

I know that our sponsor AE Motoring has some good pricing on them, hit them up both on the turbo and hondata
I somehow wasn't the least bit suprised to see that your IP address and birth date both are direct matches for the user AE Motoring
