tuner getting into the teg scene

Hey im new to the whole honda/acura scene. i know a fair amount about cars soo not a complete noob lol. hopefully buying a 99 teg this weekend. last weekends attempt went crappy (beat to hell).

anyway just thought i would post just to finally jump in.

anything to look at specifically for that year? i read the all 25 pages of "you know you own an integra" thresd but some of that stuff was year specific stuff.

Also do tegs really get fucked with as much as ive been reading or are those rare instances?

guy didnt have title.

rear taillight was cracked, part bewtween hatch and bumper was dented in. primer on edge of door, and windsheild was pushed in past the seal on the passenger side only, hatch couldnt stay open on its own and u had to close it kinda hard for it to catch and hold driver side down, doors didnt close completely the right way(hit sill wen closing). other than that it was nice. shifted smooth and make no funny noises...he supposedly gettin replacement title so maybe next weekend

I'm going to be looking at a milano red one at dealer. I give up on private sellers in my area. Kinda feel like im talking to myself here but watever. Checking the red one out saturday, would make nice birthday present to myself (aka the next day).

Welcome! Also i second you on the dealer purchase. Private sellers fuck with their cars too much and try to jack up the price. Like my experience, i had searched all over looking for a decent ride, until my dad came across the car at a dealership. Went in a week later, and drove off happy. All stock, 1 previous owner, nothing wrong. 100% working condition, and also i got 2 new tires, and a new clutch.. cant go wrong with that. But anyways good luck with your purchase :thumbs up
