yo,

i was wondering what is prolly the best investment as far as tuning my ECU, im considering doing the hondata s200 plug n play but i also heard that i should go with a pre-programmed chip.... i wonder if any of you with experiance could help me out a bit? its going to be a daily driver so i dontwanna have to replace the chip when i get it smogged, thus the idea behiend the s200, also wouldnt the s200 be more exact to the power i want... tuned for my specific mods? thanks again!

Exactly

Preprogrammed chips are a waste of time and money. 9 times out of 10 they'll make you car run like crap, how does the programmer know what mods you have? People make those things because they're so cheap to do, and they know there's enough dumb ricers out there who don't know what they're doing to their car's to buy them. It's an insult to the intelligence of the "import tuning community".
Get a Hondata or an Uberdata setup. Something you can reprogram as many times as you want, whenever you do a new mod you can adjust things for it and always be making max power.
