tune up parts question

I have a 88 integra with the 1.6 I changet the cap wires plugs .I took of the rotor, actually the rotor just broke apart when I went to take it off , there is an about 1/2" piece still on the distributer which does not want to come off so I can install the new rotor , it is a knulled piece .does this come off or is it a fixed piece on the distributor I do not want to mess it up . the new rotor mounting hole is only about 1/4 or so big with the new set screw , is their a few differant rotors for this car . thanks please help , thanks

There is a screw that holds the rotor on. You'll have to manualy turn the engine over so you can unscrew it. Its on the side of the rotor
