trying to reach the fuel pump

so im trying to get to my fuel pump and i cant get to it becuase i cant get the seat out. is there a way i could just take out the bottom seat. what am i missing to get it out.

there might be a bolt in the middle of the seat by where u buckle the back seat belts... however if you want to get to your fuel pump u need to drop your fuel tank.....only way to get to it how ever u need to remove the seat to disconnect the fuel tank unit...

Lol dude above me mustve never done this before.

Theres two clips that the seat slides in so just work with it and it will come out and and u will see a plate on the middle, unscrew that disconnect the power cord to it and install the new one . Before u do this get your car low on fuel!

ive done it plenty of time bro no need to worry..... once that lil 10mm bolt is removed (assuming the seat has never been removed ) itll slide out just like you said .... and like he said make sure your low on fuel or shit will be heavy as fuck and pain in the ass

b20 is right you need to drop your tank to get to it i just replaced mine in the summer

On 90-93 tegs you gotta drop the tank, there is 2 metal straps that hold the tank in place. Prepare yourself for most likely having to replace these straps. They are generally rusted due to being 19-22 years old. On the 94+ style Integra you just remove the rear seat to get to the pump.
