Trouble Speeding Up

My car struggles to gain speed in first, second and third gear. I press on the gas but it starts to rev up more than it should and it takes a while to speed up. Does it have to to with the gear box or clutch maybe?

If you had this problem and knows how fixed it

clutch cable may be too tight

clutch cable may be too tight

There was some torn hoses spraying antifreeze so i replaced them
It seemed to fixed the problem some how
Also, i loosened my clutch cable
and im getting a new clutch kit because my third gear grinds like crazy
