Trouble Code 12

Ok, i better give you guys some info because my situation seems to be somewhat of a cluster f***....got my db2 a while back, previous owner spun a rod through the block, so cat is probly still full of nasty stuff. Currently, i am running a B18A1 with a PR4 ecu, b17 harness. i recently replaced the rings and all the gaskets, probly just about got the rings broke in. but i am getting a code 12 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation System), am new to imports, and have no idea how i should go about this. I dont know if all that info matters but if im gonna ask for help, its better to tell all the details like that. Thanks in advance for any help.

Bump.. could It just be that I need to clean the egr valve?

is your car automatic or stick? because according to the manual, only cars that were automatic came with egr valves. I just got done reading that section. You may have a computer from an automatic car.

open the valve with it running, it should stall the engine, if it dont its plugged

Hmmmm...its a manual. Bit Idk what the motor came out of, maybe it was auto. And I guess I spaced. But um. There's no plug on my harness for egr since it was from the b17. Should I just like get a plug for the egr and wire it to the ecu? Because maybe its flashing that code because the ecu is looking for it but its not there....right? And if so can someone post the pinouts for a pr4. ? Eh scratch that I can Google that. But someone help! Haha need this fixed so I can pass emissions and have a car to drive....lol
