Okay so I recently drove on the freeway, and I realized, I'm even when driving at normal freeway speeds, im at pretty high RPMs. I've heard that the B16 tranny has shorter gears. Would this help my problem at all? :what:
Short gear ratio wouldn't help, short mean ur gear finish faster so it read it at a higher rpm. If you want ur rpm to be low u should swap ur tranny out for a ls. Ls tranny is the way to go for a lower rpm rev at high speed. Hopefully this kinda give u a idea
yeah if you had the b16 trans than your gears would be significantly shorter, the ls trans as xusake said would be your best bet for longer gears. to give you some reference when i'm at about 60mph on my 1990 integra my rpms are at about 2800-2900. hope this helps.
