tranny prob. or clutch prob need help

ok theirs a grinding noise coming from my transmission when the clutch is not engaged but when it is pressed in the grinding noise goes away....and lately the car can start but once the car is in gear it doesnt reallly want to go no were and its hard to put it in gear sometimes it doesnt even go in gear so i'd like to know if i have to get a new clutch kit or transmission....

yo i believe its a clutch problem change the bearing on your trans and it might go it away if you change the clutch pressure plater and bearings
